Once upon a time there was a little girl named Eva who had a gorgeous red hair and always wore 2 little braids that reached her hips. Eva had a skin as with as cotton. She had freckles in her nose and cheeks with some big black deep eyes placed above her unique eyebrows. Eva had an upturned nose and a mouth of the color of blood. She had grown up near a small village named Redar which was placed in a hill; she was a 7 year old orphan. Eva was 2 months old when her parents and her sister died in a wolf attack. She had raised herself up living alone in the woods down the hill.
Every day she went up to the mountain where everyone lived and went to her spot in which she could observe everyone; she saw them cooking, talking, arguing, dancing, working, feeling happy, feeling sad, feeling anxious, being bored, she was a girl who saw the world from the outside. She had learned everything from them, and even though they never talked, she knew them much more than they knew each other. But there was a thing, something strange she never had understood, the act of lying. People all over Redar lied, they lied to their family, they lied to their friends, they lied to people they didn’t even know, but mostly, and much more scarring, they lied to themselves.
The day she turned 16 she decided to finally enter to Redar and take a look at the world a little more near, a little more careful, and little deeper than she had before. The truth was he didn’t last more than 2 min. She saw Doctor Josh lie to her lovely wife at where he was (she knew all this because of her observations), she ran away as fast as she could, she didn't feel ready for all of that, she was too scared. As she ran, she took a last look before she was gone to her lonely rustic home, she tripped with a guy who was looking sadly to the floor walking as he cried. She was going to continue running but when she saw his blue flooded eyes, brown hair, and his amazing story below his tanned skin, she just couldn’t handle it, so she asked.
“Mmm… hi… what-what's wrong?” She was pretty confident taking in count it was the first time she talked to someone.
“NOTHING! Okay? Can everybody just leave me A-L-O-N-E!?”
“Wow, you look furious, I didn’t even know you, and you started now?”
“Go away, what are you talking about? Started what?”
“See my darling” She raised her head up and look like she was an expert at what she was about to say even though he looked at her with a confusing annoyed face “I know about crying and lying, and that specific tantrum of yours is because you are not happy with something or someone and you just lied to me saying it was nothing”
“Oh god, who are you?”
“Eva. You can tell me everything, what’s really wrong?”
“ It's just…” he looked a bit more calmed “ It’s just that I was not allowed to see this friend of mine, but even though my parents said me so, I did, but I hadn’t told them”
“There it is, lies!” Eva said furios
“Okay, are you going to let me continue?”
“Yeah, yeah of cores, go on”
“So… they realized that I was seeing him and made me came over to her home to end up our friendship, I said I didn’t like him as a friend anymore and I didn’t wanted to see him, and as much as I wanted that to be true, it wasn’t, so… here am I, crying.... alone…”
There was a silence
“Hey, why do you guys lie, and lie, and lie? The only thing you end up doing is hurting yourself and each other”
“Well, I don’t know… I guess it's just...”
“You lied to me when you first saw me, you didn’t even knew me; you lied to you parents, to your friend, and you were even trying to lie to yourself saying you didn't like your friend. Why? “ Eva said with curiosity
A few seconds later while he was thinking about that question, Eva realized she really didn’t wanted to know, she didn’t wanted to get trapped in the world of lying in which everybody wasn't certain about anything. The girl said bye and she ran inside the woods to her happy rustic home. Even though she was alone, she didn't lie to anyone or herself, she was happy.
